Prof. Patrice Nordmann researches on the emerging resistance traits in Gram negatives (Enterobacteriaceae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Acinetobacter baumannii...) from fundamental genetics to applied clinical microbiology. He is currently Head of the Molecular Microbology Unit in the Department of Medicine, University of Fribourg (Switzerland), of the Associated French National Reference Center for Antibiotic Resistance, and of the INSERM research Unit "Emerging Antibiotic Resistance", University Paris XI (France). Prof. Nordmann is our ANTIMICROBIAL RESISTANCE expert.
Dr. Hjerling-Leffler is interested in the genetic and cellular mechanisms of the development and function of the brain’s inhibitory system. He is Assistant Professor in the Laboratory of Molecular Neurobiology, in the Department of Medical Biochemistry and Biophysics at Karolinska Institutet (Sweden) and our BRAIN expert.
Dr. Gómez is expert in cardiac excitation-contraction coupling and their alterations in cardiac hypertrophy/heart failure responsible of pump failure and arrhythmia generation. She is Director of Research at Inserm (France) and our HEART recognized senior investigator.
Dr. Konnerth is among the top European neuroscientists working on imaging of brain cells and dendrites in vivo and in vitro. He is the Director of the Institute of Neuroscience of the Technical University of Munich (Germany) and our BRAIN expert.
